Beau Sandland football recruiting updates

Junior college tight end Beau Sandland is one of the early enrollees in Miami’s 2013 recruiting class. Sandland committed to the Hurricanes in December, and now that he’s on campus taking classes, he’ll be able to get a head start on his football career and participate in spring drills

Sandland is rated as the top junior college tight end in the country by 247Sports, and the No. 6 overall juco prospect in the class of 2013. He has two years of college eligibility remaining.

Beau Sandland, one of the top JUCO tight end recruits in the country, committed to Miami Wednesday over Arizona State. Out of Pierce College (Calif.), he was recruited by the top colleges in the country, including many SEC schools.

Sandland stands 6’6 and checks in at 250 pounds. He profiles as a receiving tight end, but he has the size to block, as well. Sandland is a consensus four-star recruit. He’ll be expected to contribute immediately.
