Willie Taggart lands his first recruit

First though, White had to take care of something: a state title. White’s University School (Fla.) team defeated Madison County (Fla.) High School. 24-17 in the 3A state title game. University school had long been considered a bit of an underachiever, but White kept his team composed even after Madison County took an early 17-0 lead.

White is a lanky 6’5 and 195 pounds, and is also pretty good at baseball.
He is a solid fit in the power-run offense that coach Taggart will try to run with the Bulls. White can be an accurate quarterback for USF, and should be able to direct the offense efficiently. As he adds bulk, his arm may improve as well.
