The South Carolina spring game yielded some big results on the recruiting trail for the Gamecocks on Saturday, as Bryce King and Jasper Sasser committed to South Carolina.

Bryce King, a top offensive-line recruit, stars for Dillon (SC) High School, according to 247sports. He stands 6’3” and weighs 293 pounds. King is a borderline four-star recruit, and is one of the better center prospects in the country, though I also believe he could play guard. King’s other offers include Clemson, LSU, NC State, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. South Carolina had long been considered the favorite to land King.

Jasper Sasser is the less-heralded of the two Saturday Gamecock commitments, but is also a solid player, coming out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Wolfson High School. Sasser claims offers from Clemson, Mississippi, South Florida, Stanford and N.C. State. Sasser is considered a three-star recruit by most services. He has excellent size at 6’2” and 185 pounds, and decent athleticism.

South Carolina now has six commitments for the 2013 class.
