North Carolina Football Recruiting: QB Mitch Trubisky Commits
Larry Fedora gets his perfect spread QB recruit.

Trubisky is a perfect fit for Larry Fedora’s spread offense in Chapel Hill. He is an excellent athlete, and can put the ball where it needs to go. It is a bit unorthodox, however, so he will need the throwing lanes created by the spread offense. Trubisky’s arm is good, but it doesn’t’ appear to be elite.
Trubisky spoke with 247sports.com:
“I just went down there and I took my unofficial visit on Saturday and I felt it was the right place and I fell in love with it,” Trubisky said.
”It was really a combination of everything. I kept asking myself questions on the recruiting trip. I kept saying yes to everything. I just felt like it was right in my head and the campus is beautiful. I met up with the coaches and they’re the type of people I can relate to and learn from them.
“There are great people there and the academics are unbelievable. I think I’m going to go in there and I fit into their type of offense.”
