The fastest-rising offensive line prospect in the state of Texas is no longer uncommitted after 2013 Mansfield offensive tackle Zachary Crabtree announced his decision on Tuesday via Twitter:

Just a few short weeks ago, Crabtree was sitting at two offers before he saw his stock explode. Prior to his commitment, Crabtree held 12 offers, including invitations to play at Baylor, Colorado, Illinois, Mississippi, Nevada, San Diego State, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Utah State and Washington State.
Crabtree is the fifth commitment in the 2013 Oklahoma State recruiting class and the second offensive line commit, joining projected guard Jack Kurzu, a Missouri prospect. The pledge from Crabtree continued a bit of recruiting momentum generated over the weekend by the commitment of Killeen (TX) safety Deric Robertson.
A 6’7, 280 pounder who was a part of a massively successful Mansfield rushing offense as a junior, Crabtree is ranked as a three-star prospect by Rivals and Scout, but has not yet been ranked by 247Sports. Given his experience as a run blocker, Crabtree should be fine in that regard as he transitions to college -- as soon as he makes necessary gains in the strength department -- but the fact that Mansfield rarely throws the ball translates to a lack of experience in pass blocking that could delay his impact on the field in Stillwater.
