Elijah Daniel, a top defensive end recruit, has committed to the Clemson Tigers according to SB Nation's excellent Clemson site, Shakin the Southland.
Elijah Daniel Commits To Clemson Tigers

Daniel stars for Avon (IN) High School. He stands 6’4 and checks in at 250 pounds. Daniel also held offers from Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State and Oklahoma. Three of the four major services rate him as one of the best 100 players nationally, and all four regard him as a four-star recruit. He is a top-20 defensive lineman nationally.
Daniel has a nice frame and could eventually play at close to 270 pounds. He’s quite quick of the ball and makes a lot of plays. His motor is also promising.
This excellent pickup marks the ninth commitment of the year for the Tigers, and Clemson’s second defensive end commitment, joining Robert Nkemdiche.
