Demorea Stringfellow Commits To Washington Huskies

Washington lands an elite receiver commitment.

Demorea Stringfellow, a top receiver recruit from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde High School, committed to the Washington Huskies Friday at the conclusion of Washington's summer football camp. Stringfellow is a consensus four-star recruit, and one of the 12 best receivers in the country. And even with those accolades, some feel Stringfellow may be underrated.

Stringfellow established himself among the best wide receivers in California in 2011, as he collected 981 yards and 15 touchdowns receiving on just 45 receptions. So far this offseason, he has been able to garner close to 15 scholarships from programs such as Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State and UCLA.

Greg Biggins of Scout.com first reported the commitments via Twitter:

SB Nation’s California Recruiting Analyst, Derrell Warren, scouted Stringfellow in May for SB Nation. Be sure to check it out for the most in-depth scouting report available anywhere on Stringfellow.

Stringfellow has the potential to be an instant-impact receiver for the Huskies.
