Troy Williams, 4-Star QB, Commits To Washington Huskies
Troy Williams, a four-star quarterback recruit, committed to the Washington Huskies Friday.

Williams is rated as a four-star recruit by both Scout.com and Rivals.com. He had more than a dozen offers and narrowed his choices to Washington and Arizona before choosing the Huskies. Greg Biggins of Scout.com reported Williams initially put on an Arizona sweatshirt and hat before saying, “I’m tripping. I’m going to UW.”
The 6'2, 190-pound quarterback becomes the seventh known commitment of Washington's 2013 recruiting class. When Williams arrives in Seattle next season, he may join a crowded depth chart at quarterback. Washington signed two four-star quarterbacks in its 2012 recruiting class. In addition to the the two 2012 recruits, the Huskies also have returning starter and junior-to-be Keith Price and redshirt freshman Derrick Brown.
