Ohio State, Pitt Battling For Ex-Penn State 4-Star Dorian Johnson

Completely free of his commitment to the Penn St. Nittany Lions' 2013 class, 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive lineman Dorian Johnson will continue to take visits, but two schools currently top his list -- Ohio State and Pittsburgh.

A Belle Vernon, Pa., native, Johnson spoke with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette over the weekend and stated emphatically the Pittsburgh Panthers and Urban Meyer's Ohio St. Buckeyes were tied above all other schools as possible destinations in 2013.

Johnson is also reportedly being pursued by the Alabama Crimson Tide, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Georgia Bulldogs and West Virginia Mountaineers, among others, and for good reason. The No. 14-rated offensive tackle prospect in the 2013 class according to Scout.com, Johnson has both the frame and strength to contribute right away at any college in America, and it makes sense why the best coaches in the business would be hot in his trail. Right now, though, it looks like Meyer and first-year Pittsburgh coach Paul Chryst are leading the charge.
