As the Oregon Ducks host the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, the Phil Knight-assisted Oregon recruiting apparatus will put itself in motion for two defensive prospects -- twins Tyrell and Tyree Robinson from San Diego (CA) Lincoln, who both star on the basketball court as well.

With the emphasis on playing the AAU circuit during the summer, the twins weren’t able to take as many visits during the summer as some prospects. Neither currently have any other official visits planned, though both are interested in USC, which has a full class at the moment, and Washington. Playing basketball in college is also in the plans for them currently.

Both four-star recruits in the 247Sports Composite, Tyrell is a 6-3, 200-pounder typically projected as an outside linebacker in college, though he could play wide receiver. Tyree is listed as an inch taller and 10 pounds lighter than his twin brother, and plays on both sides of the ball in high school as well, and could end up as an outside linebacker or safety hybrid.

Now in to the football season, the Ducks have nine commitments in the class, but only one player on the defensive side of the ball, making the Robinson twins significant targets in the 2013 cycle for a school looking to take the next step defensively.
