Nebraska Hosting Numerous Recruits For Wisconsin Game

As the Cornhuskers prepare to welcome the Badgers to Lincoln, the football and administrative staffs are busy preparing to host some of the top targets left on the Husker board.

It may not be a traditional rivalry with the Nebraka Cornhuskers having just joined the Big 10 last season, but the Wisconsin Badgers won't be the only important visitors on Saturday for the conference opener, with Nebraska hosting 11 official visitors and a handful of unofficial visitors in what is shaping up to be the biggest recruiting weekend for the Huskers this season.

With 13 spots left in the class, including a handful of spots at offensive tackle, where Bo Pelini and his staff have not yet landed a single 2013 pledge as a position of significant need, there is plenty of recruiting left do in Lincoln and the hope is surely that the program will make some seriously positive impressions on Saturday.

Fortunately for Nebraska, there will be four offensive tackles in town, including two UCLA commits – Arizona prospect Kenny Lacy and Tennessee’s Christian Morris. Uncommitted prospects include four-star Canadian David Knevel and three-star Californian JD Hinnant.

There will also be two other commits, including three-star Floridian wide receiver Dominic Walker, pledged to Vanderbilt, and South Florida pledge JoJo Kemp, a running back and another three-star prospect. Both are important targets for the Huskers as they attempt to load up on another need – skill position players.

Other than Knevel, the top uncommitted prospect expected to be in attendance is California cornerback Dashon Hunt, who is undersized at 5’9, but holds offers from most programs in the Pac-12.
