Former Clemson recruit Elijah Daniel, a defensive end prospect considered by some to be a five-star recruit, will receive visits from three SEC schools this week as Florida, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss try to land him.
Elijah Daniel receiving visits from Ole Miss, Florida, Mississippi State
Elijah Daniel hasn’t chosen between SEC schools but could make his decision soon as Florida, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State visit him this week.

Daniel, a 6-foot-3, 249-pounder from Avon, Indiana, was set to be part of a dominant defensive line class at Clemson, committing alongside Robert Nkemediche, considered arguably the best player at any position in this class. However, he left the school - claiming at the time his Twitter had been hacked - and is once again considering a variety of schools, mainly from the South rather than his home in Big Ten country.
Daniel played in the Under Armour All-American game, where SB Nation’s Bud Elliott said he likely looked bigger than his listed size. He’s easily considered one of the top ten defensive ends in his class. It’s not clear if any schools are sure favorites amongst the SEC squads visiting.
