Tashawn Bower recruiting updates

Tashawn Bower’s Signing Day has been an eventful one, but it now seems as if the four-star defensive end prospect indeed is signing with LSU, though he has yet to officially sign.

Bower was originally committed to Auburn, and had been since June. However, early signing day brought the news that he had supposedly flipped to Florida out of the blue. But even that wasn’t the full story. After that news broke, Bower decided he was committed to LSU, and is reportedly sending in his letter of intent.

It appears Florida has flipped four-star Auburn defensive end commit Tashawn Bower, although the recruit denies it for now.

The problem? His announcement isn’t until 9:30. Basically, reporting on the story appears to have spoiled his announcement.

Bower tripped to Florida State this past weekend and received a giant cookie for his visit. He is also scheduled to make visits to Florida on January 18th, and will then check out LSU on January 25th. Bower has been considered a premier defensive end prospect by many services and many top schools are looking to try and land him at the last second.

Auburn still seems to be the frontrunner though. Bower has been committed to Auburn since June. Bower took an extended trip there in the fall and seemed very well enamored by the school, but it remains to be seen.
