A big recruiting weekend lies ahead for new N.C. State head coach Dave Doeren and his staff, as more than 10 prospects in the class of 2013 are expected to make official visits. The Wolfpack has plenty of room to add to its current class, and Doeren has been working hard to both secure the players who committed to Tom O’Brien’s staff and build new connections.

Here’s a glance at some of the players reportedly planning a Jan. 25 visit in Raleigh.

Shelton Gibson (4-star prospect according to Scout): Gibson, a wide receiver from Cleveland Heights High School in Ohio, already has taken visits to Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio State and West Virginia.

Devaris Brunson (4-star): Brunson is a linebacker from South Carolina who committed to East Carolina last summer. He says he’s still keeping his options open.

Johnathan Alston (3-star): Alston, a linebacker from Bunn High School (NC) has taken a couple of unofficial visits to N.C. State already, and he’s made a trip to North Carolina as well. He has offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee and South Carolina, among others.

Deadrin Senat (3-star): The defensive tackle from Florida took a visit to South Carolina last weekend, and he has taken a trip to USF as well. His offer sheet includes Florida State, Miami, Auburn, Tennessee and a host of others.

Jordan Huff (3-star): Huff is a running back from St. Paul’s Episcopal School in Alabama. He committed to Northern Illinois in December but is reportedly a soft verbal since Doeren left.

Jeff Badet (3-star): The wide receiver from Florida was once a USF commitment, but now he’s exploring options elsewhere. He visited Wake Forest and Kentucky earlier this month.

Khairi Bailey (2-star): Bailey is a defensive end who comes from Dave Doeren’s old recruiting territory -- Illinois. He also has offers from Purdue and Iowa State.

Malik Thompson (not ranked): The offensive lineman from East Edgewater HS in Florida has offers from Louisville and Missouri in addition to N.C. State
Brisly Estime (2-star): The wide receiver and Florida product has already taken visits to Iowa State, Purdue and Western Michigan.
Kevin Maurice (2-star): Maurice, a DT from Freedom High School in Florida, is another prospect that Doeren and staff are trying to flip -- he committed to Nebraska on Jan. 4.
Mitch Kimble (not ranked): Quarterback Mitch Kimble verballed to Doeren and NIU last August, and now Doeren has his new school in the mix. Kimble is also considering Syracuse, which he visited last weekend.
Joshua Jones (not ranked): Jones is a safety from Michigan, and he’s already taken visits to Pittsburgh and Colorado this month.
