Seth Ryan, who is the son of New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan, will be walking on to the Clemson program in 2013. Seth says he was considering both Texas A&M and Clemson, but that he was sold quickly on the Tigers by head coach Dabo Swinney.

Seth Ryan, a wide receiver/athlete prospect out of New Jersey, is excited to join the Tigers football program.

“I was completely blown away with everything and Coach Swinney especially,” Seth Ryan said. “The way he cares about his players is amazing – he is one of the best players’ coaches in the nation. I got a great feel for that with him.”
He added that both of his parents were impressed with what Clemson has to offer, and that his mother is “going shopping for her orange.”
Ryan joins a Clemson recruiting class that ranks 22nd nationally, according to Rivals. The Tigers are coming off an 11-2 season that ended with a victory over LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Swinney has a 40-21 record as head coach of Clemson.
