Massive three-star offensive lineman Brock Ruble has committed to Florida State, adding another future piece to the Seminole offensive line.
Brock Ruble commits to Florida State: Noles land offensive tackle recruit
The three-star picked the ‘Noles over Maryland and NC State.

Ruble picked the Seminoles over Maryland and NC State, although he also held offers from Ohio State, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Florida, among others. He currently attends Maryland powerhouse DeMatha Catholic High School, less than a ten-minute drive from the Terrapins’ campus.
At 6’8” and 315 pounds, Ruble certainly has an excellent frame, but he’s considered a project, especially technique-wise. He is considered a three-star recruit by the 247sports composite, and is rated as the 46th-best offensive tackle in the class and the 15th-best prospect in the state.
Ruble is the Seminoles’ 25th commitment in the class, and the composite considers him the 17th-best prospect in the class. Jimbo Fisher’s 2014 haul ranks seventh in the country and second in the ACC, behind local rival Miami. He is the third offensive tackle commitment in the class, with Chad Maviety and Ethan Frith.
