With 33 players already committed for the 2014 season, Tennessee boasts one of the largest recruiting classes in recent memory, and it’s about to get even bigger than that. Literally, in the case of their latest commitment -- 6’5, 350 pound defensive tackle Charles Mosley.
4-star DT Charles Mosley commits to Tennessee
The Volunteers get another commitment, adding some beef up front.

Mosley, a native of Brighton, Tennessee, called it for the Volunteers on Monday, selecting them over offers from six other SEC teams, including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Ole Miss.
A 4-star prospect on the 247sports composite, Mosley is the 18th ranked defensive tackle in the 2014 class and the sixth rated prospect in the state of Tennessee this year. He becomes the third defensive tackle for the Volunteers this year, joining Mesquite (Texas) West’s Dimarya Mixon and El Dorado (Kansas) Butler Community College transfer Owen Williams. Williams and Mixon are both rated 3-stars on the 247sports composite.
His addition does not move the needle for the Volunteers, though. According to the 247sports composite, Tennessee’s class, as massive and impressive as it might be, still trails Alabama by a decent margin for the number one ranking.
