Artavis Scott commits to Clemson

SB Nation RecruitingWide receiver Artavis Scott committed to Clemson Tuesday at The Opening, giving the Tigers their 14th pledge in the Class of 2014.
Scott is out of Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake High School and a consensus four-star prospect, according to the major recruiting services. ESPN and Rivals rank him as the 10th- and 11th-best player at his position, respectively, while 247 Sports says he is the No. 20 wide receiver in the class. Scout rates him as the 23rd-best receiver. He joins 5-star quarterback Deshaun Watson, also at The Opening, as well as 4-star wide receiver Demarre Kitt, in Clemson’s class. Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins will be able to hand the reins of Clemson’s passing game over safely.
