Hill is 6’6” and weighs 315 pounds. He is considered a four-star prospect and the second-best offensive guard in the class of 2013 by 247Sports. Rivals rates him as a four-star prospect as well, and the fifth-best offensive guard in the class.
He also had offers from Auburn, Clemson, Mississippi State and Georgia.
Recruitment timeline: Hill attended Alabama’s junior day last February and committed to the Crimson Tide not long after. He had already made several unofficial visits to Tuscaloosa prior to that, and he made several more after his verbal commitment. He took his official visit to Alabama on Dec. 7.
