Nico Falah signs with USC before announcement, according to Trojans Twitter
Bellflower offensive tackle Nico Falah’s announcement isn’t until later on Signing Day, but USC’s already announcing him as signed.

The USC Trojans have very few scholarships, so they will have to skimp a little on depth at particular positions. That maxim holds true with regards to offensive linemen, where USC signed only two. Nico Falah is one of those players, as the offensive tackle hopes to work his way up the rotation on a Trojan team limited in scholarships.
Falah is a pretty sound tackle and should be ready to contribute to the Trojans after a redshirt year of conditioning and training. He already has a lot of talent, and is perfectly suited to guard the outside. His frame lends to him being a perfect offensive tackle because his arms are long enough to keep pass rushers from escaping his grasp and also grasp other defenders and put them to the ground.
He has solid pad level, does a good job of engaging his blockers and generally puts his man on the ground when he engages in a one-on-one battle. His pass protection skills need work but the fundamentals are all there for him to be a great offensive lineman down the line.
Falah has been pursued by a number of schools after his commitment to USC, with the Washington Huskies particularly turning up the heat. But Falah has stuck with USC and will be headed to the Trojans when all is said and done.
Ratings: Falah is a consensus four-star offensive tackle.
Vitals: Falah stands at around 6’5, 270 pounds.
Other offers: Falah had offers standing from 11 of the 12 Pac-12 schools, with Oklahoma, Nebraska, Florida and Tennessee all standing out.
Recruitment timeline: Falah received a lot of attention from USC early in the process, attending Junior Day, taking an unofficial, landing an offer, then committing after a summer camp. Falah has taken a look at other schools like Cal early and Oregon and Washington (particularly Washington) late, but Falah has never really wavered from his Trojan commitment.
