Trevion Thompson football recruit updates: 2014 receiver

Trevion Thompson has the size at 6’3 and 181 pounds to be a big-time college wide receiver, and that has many of the nation’s top programs after his services. As of March, the recruit out of Durham (NC) Hillside High School holds offers from Florida, Ohio State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, Vanderbilt, Purdue, and Duke.

Thompson is a composite 4-star recruit and rated as the No. 2 receiver in his class by 247 Sports. Scout pegs him as the fourth-best wideout of 2014 and joins Rivals in giving him four stars. Thompson figures to be near the top 50 overall nationally when all is said and done.
