A consensus three-star prospect who could see his stock rise with another strong season as a senior, the younger Mahomes is ranked as the no. 19 pro-style prospect in the country in the 247Sports Composite rankings and the no. 40 player in the state of Texas. Prior to his commitment, he held offers from Rice and Houston.
