Nine Georgia recruits, including two Elite 11 quarterbacks, make up the strong Georgia contingent at Nike’s The Opening.

Although many eyes will be on the two signal-callers, Clemson commit Deshaun Watson and Ohio State commit Stephen Collier, there’s also uncommitted defenders DE Lorenzo Carter and LB Raekwon McMillan, each considered among the top 20 players at any position in the country.

Here’s a look at the nine players from the Peach State headed to Beaverton, Ore.

QB Stephen Collier, (@Stephen5Collier)
Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County

Collier is one of the more intriguing recruits in the Elite 11. Urban Meyer and staff will be closely monitoring the results of the 6'3, 205-pound Buckeyes commit. He is a raw, but fast-rising QB recruit, passing for 22 TDs last season while rushing for 11 more scores. He is a consensus three-star at this point, and will be looking to prove that he belongs with the four- and five-star quarterbacks. He is an outstanding student-athlete with a 4.2 GPA and 1680 SAT. He chose Ohio State over Boston College, Cincinnati, Louisiana Tech, Marshall and Wake Forest.

QB Deshaun Watson (@ShaunWatson4)
Gainesville (Ga.)
The 6’4, 200-pound Watson is one of the highest-rated quarterbacks in the country, carrying a consensus four-star grade. Watson has already committed to Clemson after also being offered by major programs such as Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Ohio State and Tennessee. As a junior, the Georgia Class AAAAA Player of the Year completed 315 passes out of 435 attempts for 4,311 yards and 50 TDs with only eight interceptions. Watson also ran for 1,444 yards and another 24 scores, giving him 74 touchdowns on the year. In one of his games, a 69-0 win over Winder-Barrow, the Gainesville star was literally perfect, going 18-of-18 for 350 yards and seven touchdowns, becoming one of only three players to throw for seven or more scores in a game in Georgia high school history.

RB Nick Chubb (@NickChubb21)
5-10, 210, Cedartown, Ga.
Chubb rushed for over 2,700 yards and 38 TDs as a junior and had college offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and several others before committing to Georgia in June. Had the second best SPARQ Rating at the Atlanta NFTC with a 122.43 on a 4.58 in the 40 and a 40.4 inch vertical.

LB Bryson Allen-Williams (@WatchOut4_11), 6-0.5, 220
Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove
Williams was a Class AAA All-State pick after recording 99 tackles (22 for loss) with 16 sacks as a junior. He had over two dozen offers before committing to South Carolina.

LB Raekwon McMillan (@Kwon_daTrurth), 6-1.5, 250
Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty Co.
McMillan gathered about every award possible last season, including MaxPreps Junior All-American, AP All-State and Defensive Player of the Year honors. His college offers include Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Stanford and Texas.

DB Wesley Green (@WGreen_4), 5-11, 170
Lithonia (Ga.) M.L. King
He earned Class 6A All-Region honors as a junior. He committed to South Carolina over offers that included Auburn, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, Syracuse, and Tennessee.

DB Kendarius Webster (@d1_kendarius), 5-10.5, 175
Stockbridge, Ga.
Webster was one of the stars at the Atlanta NFTC where he shined in the one-on-one drills and also tested well with a 4.41 in the 40, a 34.2 inch vertical and a 97.68 SPARQ Rating. He is also a track standout--running the 100 and 400 meters--and has 20 offers for football including Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Vanderbilt.

DE Lorenzo Carter (@LCarter_25), 6-5, 230
Norcross, Ga.
Carter posted the top SPARQ Rating for a defensive lineman this year at the Nike events. Carter has offers from over 30 universities including his early leaders of Georgia Tech, Florida, Georgia, Texas and Ohio State. As a junior he was a MaxPreps All-American and a 6A All-State honoree after recording 136 tackles with 18 sacks.

DL Andrew Williams (@DrewWill_79), 6-4, 245
McDonough (Ga.) Eagle’s Landing
Williams had big numbers as a junior, earning Class A All-State honors with 18 sacks and 60 tackles. He impressed at the Atlanta NFTC when he ran a 4.99 in the 40. His 20-plus offers include favorites such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
