The Opening 2013: Corey Martinez set to choose between FSU, Alabama, Miami

The offensive lineman is likely to play his college ball in the ACC or SEC.

Bud Elliott (SB Nation)

Class of 2014 offensive line prospect Corey Martinez is ready to pick a college, and he will make his commitment at The Opening in Oregon. Martinez, who hails from Tampa Catholic High School (Fla.), is expected to choose between Florida State, Alabama and Miami. He also holds offers from LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia and a bunch of other power-conference schools.

Martinez stands 6’4 and weighs 297 pounds. He is a consensus three-star recruit, and he is projected by the major recruiting services to play either guard or center at the next level. He is considered by 247Sports to be the 22nd-best guard prospect in the class and the No. 40 overall player from the state of Florida. Both Scout and Rivals like him a little more, as those services have him pegged as one of the 15-best recruits at guard.
