SB Nation caught up with 2014 quarterback prospect Manny Wilkins, who is at the Elite 11 Finals in Oregon along with a bunch of the nation’s top prospects. The Arizona State commit spoke about his experience at the camp so far, his leadership qualities, his belief in the future of the Sun Devils and more.
Manny Wilkins chats about Arizona State commitment, Elite 11 experience
The three-star quarterback took some time Monday to speak with SB Nation Recruiting.
Wilkins is a consensus three-star prospect from Novato (Calif.) San Marin High School. He holds two offers from power-conference schools and went with ASU over Arizona, Colorado State and Wyoming. He is one of 18 quarterbacks at the event trying to make a strong impression and improve along the way.
Wilkins’ stock has been rising, and a source at Elite 11 told SB Nation that his ceiling in college will depend on how much he grows and matures physically. He already is considered one of the top 10 or 15 dual-threat quarterbacks in the class, and he also made the preliminary “11” following Monday’s workouts.
