2014 WR Malachi Dupre talks about competing with the best at The Opening

The highly-regarded Louisiana receiver talked with SB Nation Recruiting about his experience competing against the best recruits in the country at The Opening.

Malachi Dupre was Class 2A All-State in 2012, as he caught 36 passes for 816 yards and 15 TDs for the state champs despite playing in a run-oriented option offense. The 6’2.5, 187-pound New Orleans (La.) John Curtis star has 35 offers, including Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Colorado, Florida State, Kansas State, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tulane, UCLA and Vanderbilt, among others.

Dupre said he’s interested in UCLA, Florida State, Clemson, Notre Dame, Auburn, Arkansas and LSU, and would like to take some visits this summer before his season starts. In particular, he said he feels comfortable with the coaching staffs at UCLA, Florida State and LSU.
