2014 QB Brad Kaaya talks The Opening, Miami

The Hurricane commit spoke with SB Nation Recruiting about how he can improve his game, and trying to bring other top players down to Miami with him.

Student Sports

Brad Kaaya stands 6-4 and 215 pounds, and is a consensus four-star recruit, but is not widely considered to be one of the 10 best pro-style passers by the industry. He’ll be looking to change that in Oregon. One of the standouts at the San Francisco Elite 11, he passed for 1,875 yards with 12 TDs and only two INTs on the field as a junior and has committed to Miami (Fla.) over an offer from San Diego State.

Kaaya talked about what he’s doing to work on his game out at The Opening, and how he’s talking with other players, attempting to convince them to come to Miami with him. Kaaya specifically mentioned Braxton Berrios, a three-star receiver from Raleigh (N.C.) Leesville Road as someone he’d like to play with as a Hurricane.
