Linebacker prospect Rashaan Evans talked with SB Nation’s Bud Elliott on Wednesday about his experience at The Opening, and revealed his current top five programs. Evans, projected as an outside linebacker, came to The Opening looking to prove himself as a cover linebacker.

The four-star outside linebacker recruit trims his list to Georgia, UCLA, Florida State, Tennessee, and the hometown Auburn Tigers.

The 6’4, 215-pound Evans is a consensus four-star recruit out of Auburn, Ala. The hometown Tigers are among the more than 25 programs that have offered Evans a scholarship, and remain in the hunt. Evans puts Auburn in his temporary top five with Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, and UCLA. Alabama, LSU, Clemson, Notre Dame, and USC have also made offers to Evans, among others.
Bud Elliott likes Evans’ production, after he managed 16 tackles for loss and five sacks as a junior.
