The nation’s top prospect for the 2014 class is winding down his recruitment, as five-star offensive tackle Cameron Robinson announced on his Twitter page Tuesday evening that he will reveal his commitment Friday. The West Monroe, La. native will choose between Alabama and LSU, the two presumed leaders for much of his commitment.

Cameron is considered the nation’s top recruit for the 2014 class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings. Listed at 6’5, 318 pounds, the 17-year-old has received nearly a dozen offers, ranging from Arkansas and Auburn to Michigan, Texas and Texas A&M. Robinson has visited Alabama and LSU multiple times this summer, and most recently attended the Crimson Tide’s scrimmage Aug. 17.

Regardless of where Robinson ends up, Alabama and LSU have been the two favorites for some time. Back in July, Robinson was dominant at Nike’s The Opening 2013, where he chatted with SB Nation’s Bud Elliot about his ongoing recruitment and intentions to contribute as a freshman.
