Prior to The Worldwide Leader’s involvement, Robinson had been set to announce his college choice Friday. He previously narrowed his choices to Alabama and LSU. Robinson holds offers from many of the nation’s top programs, including Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Auburn, TCU, Ole Miss, and Washington. The recruiting experts at 247 Sports largely believe Robinson will choose Alabama, but the Bayou Bengals are hardly out of the running.
The 6’5, 318-lb. Robinson, who hails from West Monroe, LA, has moved to the top of almost everyone’s offensive line recruiting board. He is a universal five-star recruit, and the top-rated lineman at all four major scouting services. 247 Sports has rated Robinson as the nation’s top overall recruit. Rivals, Scout, and ESPN all have him rated among the top 3 nationally.
