In their second season under head coach Todd Graham, the Arizona State Sun Devils continue to bolster their recruiting footprint within the Pac-12. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Arizona State’s 2014 class ranks third in the conference behind Stanford and Arizona, as well as 37th nationally. The Sun Devils currently have 13 commits for 2014, including three four-stars.

Todd Graham continues to improve Arizona State’s recruiting profile.


Among the crown jewels is four-star wide receiver Tyler Whiley, a 6’1, 190-pound prospect from Paradise Valley, Ariz. 247’s composite rankings list Whiley as 2014’s No. 23 receiver, as well as Arizona’s No. 6 overall recruit for 2014. Whiley chose ASU over offers from Arizona, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, UCLA and Washington.
Another top commit is four-star defensive end Connor Humphreys (Portland, Ore.). Humphreys is a 6’0, 268-pound prospect whom 247 considers the nation’s No. 15 weak-side defensive and the No. 2 2014 recruit from Oregon. His recruitment was even more involved, as schools like Arizona, Boise State, California, Oregon State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin also offered.
A possible gem for ASU could be three-star dual-threat quarterback Manny Wilkins (Novato, Calif.). Wilkins is listed at 6’2, 180 pounds, and 247 has him a the nation’s No. 5 dual-threat for 2014 and California’s No. 34 prospect.
