Life is good in Tuscaloosa, where Nick Saban continues to dominate over the college football landscape. The talent keeps making its way in waves -- Alabama is poised to add its fourth straight number one recruiting class, according to the 247sports composite.

It isn't even close, either. The Tide have an eye-popping 23-point lead in the composite rankings over their next closest competitor, Ohio State. To put that in perspective, that's an edge roughly equivalent to the one the Buckeyes have over the Texas Longhorns, who have the seventh-ranked class.
Alabama’s most recent addition to its recruiting class was prized offensive tackle Cameron Robinson, a five-star player from West Monroe, La. With a 247sports composite rating of .9995, Robinson looks like a can’t-miss prospect, and is considered the best recruit at his position this year -- the 247sports composite actually has Robinson as the top recruit in the country, period.
Besides Robinson, two more recruits recently called it for the Crimson Tide -- Monroe (La.) Ouachita Parish wide receiver Cameron Sims and Cedar Falls (Iowa) offensive tackle Ross Pierschbacher joined Alabama’s recruiting class in August. Both are rated as four-star players on the 247sports composite and rank among the top 10 at their position in the country. At 6’4, 200 pounds, Sims’ big, athletic frame should give SEC cornerbacks nightmares for years to come.
Other highlights for Alabama include athlete Bo Scarbrough, JUCO offensive tackle Dominick Jackson and quarterback David Cornwell, who all sport four-star ratings on the 247sports composite. Scarbrough is the fourth-rated athlete in the country, and it's not hard to see why, when you realize that he runs a 4.59 40 at 6'2, 225. He could play on either side of the ball for the Tide. Jackson will be coming over from College of San Mateo in California, but as the top rated JUCO lineman in the country, he looks poised to bolster the Crimson Tide offensive line right away. Finally, there's Cornwell, who looks to be the heir apparent to A.J. McCarron somewhere down the line -- the 6'5, 241 pound Oklahoma native is a top-five quarterback prospect this year on the 247sports composite.
