The USC Trojans have picked up a commitment from four-star wide receiver Rahshead Johnson. The Long Beach (CA) Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo High School star went with the Trojans over Washington State after de-committing from Washington back on Dec. 2.

Johnson is USC’s 16th commitment in the 2014 recruiting cycle. He’s a consensus four-star prospect, and is rated among the top 30 wide receiver prospects in the country by all four of the major services. He’s also considered by 247Sports and Rivals to be one of the top 20 overall prospects in the talent-rich state of California.
With USC losing Marqise Lee to the NFL a year early, there's room for newcomers to step in and contribute at wide receiver. At 5'11, 165 pounds, he's not the most imposing physical specimen in the world, but Steve Sarkisian and the USC staff don't need him to be a high pointer.
