The No. 2 offensive tackle in the state of Texas is now on the market again after Houston (Texas) Westfield's Toby Weathersby decommitted from the Texas Longhorns on Monday.

He’s now headed to the SEC and will choose between three schools:

For those unfamiliar with the hashtags, those schools are Arkansas, Ole Miss, and LSU.

The loss for Texas and the Big 12 represents another in a growing trend of players headed to the nation's premier conference, sapping talent from programs like the Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners.

None of the three schools were seriously on the radar for Weathersby prior to his decommitment -- he had been considered an Oklahoma lean when he committed to Texas back in March and then took an unofficial visit to Texas A&M with a teammate in November.

A consensus four-star prospect, Weathersby is ranked as the No. 108 prospect in the country, the No. 9 offensive tackle nationally, and the No. 14 player in the state of Texas according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Now those three SEC programs will be jockeying to land official visits from the Westfield product who has strong skills as a run blocker and in pass protection.

If early playing time is a consideration, the Arkansas left tackle is a sophomore and the right tackle is a senior. In Baton Rouge, La’el Collins is about to exhaust his eligibility on the quarterback’s blind side, while his counterpart on the right side is a sophomore. Ole Miss, meanwhile, has a sophomore left tackle and a junior

It’s possible that Weathersby could play early in the right side since the transition to left tackle from high school is often difficult, even for top prospects, which would give the Razorbacks the edge. But if he wants a chance to start at left tackle, LSU would provide the best opportunity.

Wherever he lands, Weathersby would represent a significant pledge for any of those schools since he has that potential to play left tackle in college.
