Duke pulled off another big recruiting coup Saturday night, landing the commitment of four-star Mater Dei (Calif.) linebacker Ben Humphreys. The prospect announced his decision on Twitter.
4-star OLB Ben Humphreys commits to Duke over Miami, Nebraska, Arizona State
The Blue Devils grab their second four-star California commitment out of the 2015 class.

Humphreys chose the Blue Devils over offers from Miami, Nebraska, Arizona State, Wisconsin, Washington and California, among others. He’s considered the 16th-best outside linebacker in the class of 2015 by the 247Sports Composite and the 27th-best player in the state of California.
Humphreys is not the first four-star prospect from California to pledge to the Blue Devils in the class. Campolindo (Calif.) tight end Tyler Petite chose Duke over offers from USC, Auburn and Stanford, among others. He’s rated as the 12th-best tight end in the class and the 38th-best player in the state, making Humphreys the higher rated of the two recruits.
Duke’s 2015 class now stands at 18 members, and currently ranks 20th in the 247Sports Composite team rankings -- directly ahead of Oregon and Texas.
