The Texas A&M Aggies lost a big-time pledge on Thursday with the decommitment of star Cedar Hill (Texas) wide receiver Damarkus Lodge, according to 247Sports.
4-star WR Damarkus Lodge decommits from Texas A&M
The Aggies have suffered some attrition from their stellar 2015 recruiting class.

A consensus four-star prospect, Lodge is rated as the No. 6 wide receiver nationally, the No. 7 player in the state of Texas and the No. 36 player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The 6’3, 190-pounder committed to the Aggies on June 19, a day after taking an unofficial visit to College Station.
He also holds offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, California, Clemson, Florida, Iowa, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, SMU, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Tech, USC and Utah.
Three other offers are reportedly standing out for Lodge at this time -- Baylor, Oklahoma and TCU. Lodge had also seriously considered Ole Miss prior to his commitment to A&M, but it’s not clear if the Rebels are still in the mix for his services. LSU was another school that once had a shot at Lodge and may again, as Lodge briefly declared the Tigers his leader during the spring.
After receiving numerous big-time offers during the spring of his sophomore season despite playing sparingly the previous fall, Lodge lived up to the hype as a junior, catching 72 passes for 1,255 yards and 25 touchdowns, while adding three more scores on the ground.
