2016 OT recruit Marcus Tatum talks Florida, Auburn and Miami

The 6’7, 253-pound tackle said the coaches love his aggressive game.

Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland offensive tackle Marcus Tatum may not be rated by any of the major scouting services yet, but his offer sheet would suggest that he’s an impressive player. He stopped to talk with SB Nation Recruiting’s Bud Elliott at The Opening’s Orlando regional, and the 6’7, 253-pound prospect talked about some of the schools he currently holds offers from, including Florida, Auburn and Miami.

“They really love my aggressiveness downfield, that’s one thing,” he said. “Like how I just drive people downfield and then go and hit somebody else.” Tatum said the coaches he’s been talking to, specifically Florida’s Mike Summers and Auburn’s Scott Fountain, love his aggressiveness as well.

In addition to the previously mentioned schools, Tatum said that he wants offers from Stanford and Florida State. With his 3.5 high school GPA and interest in academics, Stanford would seem like a natural fit, especially considering its reputation for developing offensive linemen.
