Live recruiting updates from Thursday at The Opening

SB Nation is on scene bringing live updates on the top recruits in the country at The Opening.

Steve Dykes-USA TODAY Sports

BEAVERTON, Ore. -- The Elite 11 quarterback competition has wrapped up, and after two days of seeing the best quarterbacks in the country perform on recruiting’s biggest stage, the rest of the top recruits in the country will descend on Oregon to show their stuff. Recruits will take part in drills throughout the week and will have an opportunity to showcase their skills in a 7-on-7 tournament setting. You can read a full explainer of the event here.

SB Nation is on scene and will be providing live updates from the event. Analysts Bud Elliott and Pete Volk will also be answering questions in the comment section.

The quarterbacks have already seen the big stage, but there will be plenty of other top recruits in Oregon. The Opening will feature players from 28 states across the country, as well as from American Samoa, Washington, D.C. and British Columbia. All but 12 of the 167 total players are from the 2016 recruiting class. The full roster can be found here.
