5-star Teradja Mitchell takes advantage of his birthday and reveals Top 11 schools with cake

Kudos for the creativity.

National Signing Day came to a close on Wednesday, and we saw a few clever commitments, including one featuring a recruit landing in a stadium in a helicopter, a t-shirt fake-out, and one in which the prospect threw a Mississippi State hat across the room with his commitment to Ole Miss.

Five-star linebacker Teradja Mitchell, who is a member of the 2018 recruiting class, released his Top 11 schools via his Twitter account on Wednesday evening. The schools include Florida, Penn State, USC, LSU, Clemson, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Ohio State, and Florida State. But it’s how he revealed the schools that’s so creative — he used his own birthday cake with all 11 of the logos on it.

Whoever winds up with Mitchell is getting a big-time prospect. Per the 247Sports Composite, he’s the No. 1 overall inside linebacker, and the No. 2 overall prospect out of Virginia. 247Sports has him predicted 100 percent as a future Florida State Seminole.

Kudos to Mitchell for using some creativity on his birthday to release his top schools.
