The Opening Finals roster 2017: Elite recruits listed by star rating and college

The Opening Finals are underway from Nike’s headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and some of the nation’s most highly-touted recruits from across the country are on-hand. Out of the 166 prospects in attendance, a whopping 30 are five-star recruits, per 247Sports, and another 114 are four-stars.

The Opening Finals’ 7-on-7 championship tournament begins Monday, July 3rd at 12:30 p.m. ET. The finals are scheduled to be televised on the NFL Network.

The nation’s No. 1-overall recruit, Clemson commit and five-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence, was one of the 11 quarterbacks invited. Fellow five-star signal callers Justin Fields and Matt Corral will be on hand after recently decommitting from Penn State and USC, respectively.

Other big-name five-stars include Clemson commit Xavier Thomas, wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., defensive back Patrick Surtain Jr., and Texas commit B.J. Foster.

Kentucky commit Jarren Williams will be there, as will recent North Carolina commit Tyler Shough, TCU commit Justin Rogers, and UCLA commit Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

Some other big names include Ohio defensive lineman Tyreke Smith, defensive back Houston Griffith, Texas receiver Al’Vonte Woodard, and running back Ricky Slade Jr.

10 of Miami’s class of 2018 commits are in attendance, including five-star running back Cam’Ron Davis, defensive back Al Blades Jr., and wideouts Brian Hightower and Mark Pope.

Ohio State has eight commits attending, such as five-star defensive linemen Brenton Cox Jr. and Taron Vincent, and four-star defensive backs Jaiden Woodbey, Josh Proctor, and Sevyn Banks.

Notre Dame has five.
