The bar gets continually raised on recruiting commitment videos. On signing day, a DB verballed to BYU in a helicopter. In March, a DE used superpowers to to pledge to Duke. Now we’ve got fire in the mix, and four-star 2018 linebacker Ayodele Adeoye used it to declare his intentions to play college football at Texas.
Recruit commits to Texas with BURNING LONGHORNS LOGO ASCENDING FROM THE GROUND
Four-star linebacker Ayodele Adeoye pledged to the Longhorns in style.

At first, Adeoye throws his letters in a bonfire all in the heap.
Then a Texas logo emerges at the end, and Adeoye is committed to the burnt orange.
Adeoye is the No. 4 inside linebacker prospect in the country and the No. 124 player overall in the 247Sports Composite.
Much like Adeoye’s commitment, the Longhorns need to rise from the ashes on the recruiting trail. UT’s 2017 class was disappointing, although ultimately explainable, because it was a transitional class, given that coach Tom Herman was hired in December.
For now, it seems that Herman has things going in the right direction in Austin.
With the Missouri native on board, Adeoye gives the Longhorns commit No. 11 and their third in the last six days. More notably, he becomes the fifth out-of-state prospect to join the Longhorns this cycle, proving that Herman and his staff have quickly reestablished the Longhorns brand outside of the state’s borders.
