The 2017 iteration of the nation’s premier college football recruiting event, The Opening, is coming to an end with the 7-on-7 tournament finals. As opposed to previous years, the competition hasn’t been televised at all so far, but that’ll change at the end.
How to watch and stream The Opening 2017’s 7-on-7 championship game
After years on ESPN, the event’s moving to NFL Network.

What channel and time for The Opening’s 7-on-7 finals?
Monday night’s finale will be on the NFL Network, along with commitments by four-star wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase (LSU or TCU) and Jordyn Adams (Clemson or North Carolina).
As of right now, we don’t have an exact time for the championship game, but it should be between 6:30 and 8 p.m. ET, given what Nike’s told SB Nation’s national recruiting analyst Bud Elliott about Monday’s schedule.
What about streaming?
The NFL Network’s streaming info is here. The semis and championship are also scheduled to stream on The Opening’s Facebook page.
What’s 7-on-7?
The competition showcases athleticism with a fast-paced skeleton game of football featuring the nation’s top recruits. Here are some highlights from the action that’s already happened.
While the 7-on-7 games are going on, linemen will be working in a skills competition of their own, but at this point that won’t be televised.
As always, you can follow all the action (or catch up on what you’ve missed) with our live blog:
