Denzel Perryman will return Saturday for Miami
Jared Wickerham - Getty ImagesThe defense is coming off one of the worst performances in school history. Miami’s 44-37 victory Saturday over North Carolina State was marred by the 664 yards the Hurricanes gave up. It was the second-highest total the defense has allowed in school history.
In his first three games of 2012, Perryman had 16 tackles and an interception. As a freshman he had 69 tackles and a sack.
