When Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech had to reschedule their season-opening game due to Hurricane Isaac, no one thought the game would end up having national ramifications. But five weeks into the season, both the A&M and Tech are ranked in the Top 25.
Texas A&M vs. Louisiana Tech game time, favorite, TV schedule and more
Two of the most high-powered offenses in the country square off in a non-conference game that had to be rescheduled due to Hurricane Isaac.

Coached by Sonny Dykes, a disciple of Mike Leach, Tech has already defeated Illinois and Virginia this season, and a win over the Aggies could set them up for a run at an undefeated season and a berth in a BCS bowl.
Texas A&M, meanwhile, seems to have found a star in freshman QB Johnny Manziel, who has stepped right into former Houston coach Kevin Sumlin's high-powered spread offense to lead an A&M attack that scores 44.6 points a game, eighth-best in the nation.
They’ve been surprisingly frisky in SEC play, with wins over Arkansas and Ole Miss and a narrow loss to Florida. They have a huge home date with an LSU team that suddenly looks vulnerable Oct. 20.
That would normally make a road game at a WAC school a classic trap game but, with Tech averaging 53.2 points per game, third in the nation, A&M will come in Saturday expecting a dogfight.
Game time, TV channel: 8:00 P.M. EST on ESPN U
Point spread: Texas A&M favored by -8 points
