Missouri Tigers tight end Eric Waters underwent a CT scan and is having a precautionary MRI as well, according to Dave Matter of the Columbia Daily Tribune. All results have been normal.

The tight end received normal results on a CT scan and MRI after being carted off the field earlier Saturday.
Waters was carted off the field in the final minute of the Tigers' 48-10 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide with an apparent neck injury. Waters had been tackled out of bounds following a reception and landed awkwardly on his back. The collision caused his head to strike the turf and he laid immobile on the sideline for several minutes while being attended to.
Waters was placed on the stretcher and removed from the field once the game concluded.
The tight end is in his third season with Missouri, with 46 yards receiving on 2 catches last season with one touchdown. In six games in 2012, Waters has 26 yards on 3 catches with no touchdowns. Waters was named to the 2nd-Team Academic All-Big 12 team in 2011.
