Here are some of the highlights of another wild Big 12 shootout, as the West Virginia Mountaineers held off the Texas Longhorns in a 48-45 win.

Geno Smith threw four more touchdowns to lead the West Virgina Mountaineers to a 48-45 victory over David Ash and the Texas Longhorns.

Geno Smith did have one major mistake in a season during which he's barely committed any; the West Virginia quarterback fumbled the football in his own end zone, and Jackson Jeffcoat recovered it to tie things up at 21-21 early in the second quarter. Texas hung tough for most of the game behind David Ash moving the football down the field and Joe Bergeron punching it in four times into the end zone.
But in general, Smith held his own. Despite being sacked four times, he completed better than 70 percent of his passes and dished out another four touchdowns. Three of them went to Stedman Bailey, including the go-ahead score that put West Virginia ahead for good. Andrew Buie also provided ample support on the ground, rushing for over 200 yards and two touchdowns.
