Remember when SEC folks wondered whether Texas A&M deserved to be in the conference? That question will never, ever be asked again.
TWIS: Welcome to Texas A&M, Alabama

Mike ZarrilliAlabama. They did not win. You have undoubtedly seen the guy who appears to be playing COD at the same time he is watching a football game, which seems fake to me but doesn’t say “the Chive” on it so may not be. The guy says, “CUMONG,” like a vet, which is also a point in favor of its authenticity.
Also here are some people who appear to be joint LSU/Alabama fans who tape their dog being mad about the Alabama loss and put it on the internet:

Mike ZarrilliTexas A&M fans never hesitate to tell you how talented their team is. It is often true, often not, but that really isn’t the point. Aggie Confidence never wavers. And after this past Saturday in Tuscaloosa, said confidence is going to have enough fuel to burn for quite a while.
In Texas A&M’s stunning 29-24 win over Alabama on Saturday, the Aggies proved that they indeed were not lacking in raw talent. But they also proved what they had been lacking in recent seasons: Kevin Sumlin.

Photo by Billy LiucciThe visitor’s locker room at Bryant-Denny Stadium is called ‘The Fail Room.’
It’s a real place and is named after James Fail, but that’s not important. I’m sure the irony is not lost on Johnny Football and the rest of the Aggies.

Mike ZarrilliThe Paul Finebaum show is quite possibly the best thing about the South. It is like an audio version of that plastic bag blowing in the wind from American Beauty. Finebaum is a master troller and callers are downright insane. Plus, the ads are just great.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to listen to a full broadcast of the Finebaum show, start driving until you can pick it up, pull over, get some BBQ and listen until your smile gets so big it hurts.

Mike ZarrilliNo. 1 Alabama has fallen at the hands of No. 15 Texas A&M, 29-24, and the race for the national championship is just a little bit more wide open now. Assuming no more upsets for the rest of the way, expect either Kansas State or Oregon to take over the top spot, but don’t expect the Tide to fall far -- they’re hardly out of the running yet.
Oregon should be able to overtake K-State in the BCS standings if they both go unbeaten the rest of the way, but the Wildcats’ opponent tonight, TCU, is better than Oregon’s, Cal. So if they both win tonight, the switch won’t come this weekend. No matter -- they’ll both be in the top 2, which is all you need.

Football is a violent game. Like when this happens:
It’s either destruction or it’s sports. Either way, it was called a penalty tacked onto the reception by Ryan Swope, getting Texas A&M deep in Alabama territory. It doesn’t look like this was a hit with malicious intent, and there was no launching or lowering of the crown of the helmet. That said, he did lower the shoulder and this is typically a flag at any level.

Escapability doesn’t seem like a strong enough word to describe what Johnny Manziel does with the football. The freshman quarterback scrambles, changes direction, changes direction again and does so like Toad from Mario Kart dropping seven straight banana peels, leaving a path of falling defenders in his wake.
It’s only apt then that CBS smashed together like 15 different video game consoles and references to make a compilation of the unreal abilities of one Johnny Football.
