Virginia still has its sights set on bowl eligibility, but in order to win it, the Hoos will have to defend Charlottesville in the South’s Oldest Rivalry.

With a win, the Tar Heels would stay relevant in the battle for the ACC Coastal division, where the top four teams are all within one game of each other. North Carolina is coming off a loss in a 68-50 shootout against Georgia Tech.
After losing six straight, the Cavaliers have won their last two and will be looking to disrupt the Tar Heels’ bid for a spot in the ACC Championship Game. They can also become bowl eligible by winning their final two games.
North Carolina running back Giovani Bernard is the offensive star to watch in this game. He leads the ACC with 126 rushing yards per game and will be a force that Virginia will have to try and slow down.
The Cavaliers counter with Darius Jennings, who has 42 receptions this year for a team-high 521 yards.
