Red Raiders' quarterback Seth Doege leads the nation's top passing attack into Cowboy territory against an OSU team that is likewise a top-five passing offense despite the quarterback carousel of Wes Lunt and J.W. Walsh, who have both been banged up this season.
In a game between two so-so defenses, Oklahoma State will have the advantage in the run game, where back Joseph Randle has led the 23rd best rushing offense with 1,008 yards on the ground this season.
No. 23 Texas Tech (7-3) comes off a 41-34 overtime victory against Kansas where Doege passed for 476 yards with completions on 45-of-59 attempts. That made up for a poor defensive performance, where the Red Raiders’ defense gave up 419 yards to the nation’s 115th best scoring team.
The No. 24 Cowboys (6-3) are 5-1 at home this season after a 55-34 victory against West Virginia last week.
