The best Tom Rinaldi spoof

Take a trip down memory lane with Ty, Dan and the Solid Verbal

This video is an oldie, in the lifespan of the Internet, but a goodie. Back in 2011, Ty Hildenbrandt and Dan Rubenstein took a trip of a lifetime. They went to Glendale, site of the BCS Championship. The teams vying to be kings of college football were Oregon and Auburn, but that doesn’t much matter. What matters is the journey of our Solid Verbal friends.

In this piece, inspired by Tom Rinaldi, Ty and Dan are profiled over the dulcet tones of that famous piano. Their journey to Glendale is documented, and it’s sure to trigger emotions. What those emotions are, well ... that’s up to you.

Laugh with us. Cry with us. Share a moment. Open your hearts and minds and step into the world of the Solid Verbal. And enjoy this wonderful video from our fearless leaders, and hosts of the award-winning Solid Verbal podcast, Ty Hildenbrandt and Dan Rubenstein.

/drifts off into the sunset as sad piano music plays.
